The VGMTP website provides a variety of resources to both the public and its various user groups. It is one of the main ways to effectively interact with the program. It houses all training activities information, a range of resources, training records and communcation options.

After logging in access to various areas of the website is based on the user. Please click on your user group below to see what you view and/or what actions you you can complete.
Advanced Trainees
A VGMTP Advanced Trainee is:
- An RACP AT in Geriatric Medicine, including dual trainees.
- Employed in an accredited position in Victoria (or Tasmania).
After logging in Advanced Trainees can:

2025 Program:
- See the upcoming training sesson at the top of the page and the Zoom link to join
- Register for training sessions- the Registration button will show under the session topic on the day it runs.
- Send an apology for a session - open all year just click on the Apology button for the session
- Access training resources and other information of interest - click on the topic heading to go to that sesson's resources page

Resource Library:
- View all the current and previous years resources uncluding videos of the sessions.
- Access Archved Videos
Communication Skills:
- View information on the program.
- See which sessions they have alrady attended
- Register to attend upcoming sessions
Trainees can also:

Associates
A VGMTP Associate Trainee:
- Does not satisfy all criteria for a VGMTP trainee but are entitled to selected VGMTP resources

Alumni
VGMTP Alumni membership is:
- By invitation
- For Consultant geriatricians who have participated in VGMTP training.
- Commences with 2024 graduates.
- Initially membership is for 5 years however this limit is subject to review.
- View their personal training record

Nurses
Nurses membership is for:
- Older Person Nurse Practitioners
- Nurse Practitioner Candidate
- Nurses working in roles involving older people

- See the training sesson calendar
- Register for Nurses Discussion Group events - the Registration button will show 28 days rior to its date.
- Access training resources and other information of interest - click on the topic heading to go to that sesson's resources page
Resourse Library
- View videos of this years sessions a few days after the live session is held (date indicates this)
- Gain access to previous yers session resources
Training Record
- View their personal training record
- Update their personal details.
